Project Chair:

The Project
Chair oversees all of the activities of the group and provides the overall
vision and goals for The JayChords. Contact the Project Chair if you have
questions about our mission(s) or would like to be involved with The JayChords
in any capacity: vocal, non-vocal, or sponsor.
President: TBA
The President
is in charge of public relations and acts as a liaison between The JayChords and
the Raleigh Jaycee Membership and Publicity teams. Contact the President if you
have questions about the Raleigh Jaycees in general or are considering joining
the Raleigh Jaycees.
Director:

The Director
is in charge of all things musical. This person runs rehearsals and oversees the
choice of songs in the repertoire. Contact the Director if you have questions
about our music selection.
Assistant Director:

The Assistant
Director is in charge of rehearsal logistics and leads the group when the
Director is unavailable. Contact the Assistant Director if you cannot reach the
Director.
Archivist:
Wendy
The Archivist is in charge of making
sure each participant has access to all of JayChords’ digital and sheet music
arrangements as well as our musical notation program. If you are a participant,
contact the Archivist if you do not have the software or arrangements you need.
Arrangers:
Blair,
Ryan
The Arrangers
are the folks who create, edit, and update the arrangements in our musical
notation software. Contact the Arrangers if you would like to donate a digital SATB arrangement. Participants should contact the arrangers if they are having
difficulties with one of our current digital arrangements or have a suggestion
for a new song.
Business Manager:

The Business
Manager is in charge of setting up our performances. Contact the Business
Manager if you would like to have The JayChords sing for you or your
organization.
Choreographer:

The
Choreographer creates and teaches choreography to the vocalists in The
JayChords. Contact the Choreographer if you have suggestions on the visual
aspects of our performance.
Webmaster:

The Webmaster
creates and maintains the JayChords website. Contact the Webmaster if you are
having difficulties with the site.
NAMI Volunteer Coordinator:
Justin
The NAMI Volunteer Coordinator is the JayChord Liaison with NAMI of Wake,
Durham and Orange counties as well as NAMI of North Carolina. Contact this
person if you are interested in volunteering for NAMI through the JayChords as a
JayFan.
NAMI Fundraising
Coordinators:
Sasha,
Laura
The NAMI Fundraising Coordinator runs all the fundraising activities the
JayChords do for NAMI of Wake, Durham, and Orange counties. This person
organizes the JayWalkers NAMI walkathon team each fall and runs the JayStore.
Contact the Fundraising Coordinator if you are interested in donating to or
raising money for NAMI through the JayChords.
Prop Guru:

The Prop Gurus
are in charge of purchasing, designing, creating, storing and maintaining the
props and decorations used in JayChord performances.
